21/01/14: The Double Exposure Hypothesis

FIRSTLY! My Jam of The Day is this: enjoy! Let me know if you like it, let me know if you don't, let me know if you know something similar!

And secondly (most importantly) A Photography Post! Hallelujah!
With just 10 days left till the deadline for unit three, tensions are high. Luckily I can consider myself in a good position, with most of my shoots completed there is only the documentation left to do. One of my most exciting ideas is the one I am going to share today and that is my experimentation with double exposure. This is something that was introduced to me in the darkroom back in September when I first started the A level.

We all began using this technique in the darkroom, and ultimately I have gone back to using this in my manual photography. But first I played around with this digitally. I used photographs I had already taken of fabric dye in water, and placed them over the top of new photos of my friend Danielle, with exciting outcomes.

These photographs are very strong contenders for my final exam prints, unfortunately as the deadline looms I will struggle to develop these much further as I have many other things to do.

I hope you enjoyed these photographs, more will be coming shortly!
