I have watched it with some of my family members, who all thought it was insane (mostly because they didn't understand it). I've mentioned the idea of getting a Frank the Bunny tattoo also, but it seems that the general consensus is more of disgust rather than understanding, which doesn't bother me.

You've summed up my thoughts about it. I think that the Donnie's issue within the film is super intriguing. He in essence is having a hard time figuring out his place, then being in denial about his answer, to ultimately, in the final scene, understanding what it was all about. I like the think he is laughing about it at the end because he truly understand that in the TU, he wasn't alone there, and he's made his peace about moving on in the primary.

I think that Frank as a symbol in the film can be applied to as: 1. We aren't truly alone, it just seems like it. 2. We can always become something more(as in the case with Donnie) 3. Not everything is as it seems. The reason I say this is because of how Frank is portrayed so early on ion the film, only to be revealed later on as a tool for good, and the salvation of humankind.

I think it's remarkable that you got the tattoo. It's evident that you thought about it a lot.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14440477044462023451noreply@blogger.com
